The family of Callistus Amoah, the police officer who was tragically killed in a bullion van attack in Ablekuma, Accra, has announced the dates for his final funeral rites and burial. The pre-burial funeral rites will take place on July 14 at the National Police Academy and Training School in Tesano, Accra, starting at 8:30 am.

On the evening of July 14, 2023, the body will depart from Accra and travel to Callistus Amoah’s hometown, either by road or air transport, for the final funeral rites on Saturday, July 15, 2023, in Kologo-Navrongo. Following the funeral rites, the late Amoah will be laid to rest in his hometown of Navrongo, located in the Upper East Region of northern Ghana.

A thanksgiving service to honor Callistus Amoah’s life will be held on Sunday, July 16, at the St. Mathew Catholic Church in Kologo.
