Today, July 28, 2023, the Adisadel College student involved in a viral video showing him assaulting a fellow student is scheduled to appear in court.
Earlier this week, the Police in Cape Coast arrested the student and charged him with causing harm and assault following the disturbing incident captured in the video. Subsequently, he was released to the school’s Headmaster with instructions to produce him in court on Friday.

Prompt action has been taken by the authorities to address the incident and hold the responsible student accountable for his violent actions against his peer.
In the meantime, the victim, who was initially suspended, has been readmitted to the school. The school’s administration is taking steps to ensure his well-being and recovery during this difficult time.
The school remains committed to maintaining a safe learning environment for all students and has pledged to take strong measures against any form of violence or misconduct.
Both the school and relevant authorities are collaborating to provide the necessary support to the victim and to ensure that the perpetrator faces appropriate legal consequences for his behavior.
