A Bolt driver is receiving praise on social media for tailing a group of police officers who apprehended his passengers early on the morning of October 17.
According to the Bolt driver, he had picked up two young men from Landmark Beach and was en route to Lekki Phase 1 when they were stopped by police officers. The officers conducted a search on the passengers but found no incriminating items.

Subsequently, they asked for the identification cards of both men, which they were unable to provide.
The officers then instructed them to enter an unmarked Sienna vehicle. The driver followed the officers to determine where the young men were being taken and eventually arrived at the Nigeria Police Zone 2 Command in Onikan.

A video shared by a Twitter user alleged that the officers extorted N25,000 from the young men. In response to the report, the spokesperson of the state police command suggested reaching out to the PRO of Zone 2 for any official statement regarding the incident.
