EC sets dates for voters’ registration exercise, includes SALL

The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced that the nationwide voters’ registration will occur from May 7 to May 27, 2024. This activity will be conducted across 268 EC offices located in various regions, including Santrofi, Akpafu, Lolobi, and Likpe (SALL) within the Guan Constituency of the Oti Region.

One of the main topics on the agenda during the EC’s meeting with the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) in Accra today will be the potential inclusion of SALL in the voter registration process.

Following the completion of the voters’ registration exercise, another nationwide initiative will begin on May 30, 2024, aimed at replacing lost voter identification (ID) cards.

Additionally, the EC plans to set up additional registration centers to improve the efficiency of the registration process.

These measures are part of the EC’s efforts to ensure a seamless and accessible voter registration experience for all citizens.
