During their initial encounter with midfielder Mohammed Kudus, a passionate supporter of the Black Stars experienced a rush of emotions. Kudus, who plays for West Ham United, played a pivotal role as the Black Stars secured their qualification for the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast next year by defeating the Central African Republic.

Following the match, Kudus and his teammates left Kumasi for Accra to begin preparations for an upcoming international friendly against Liberia scheduled for Tuesday. A widely circulated video on social media captured a dedicated female fan of the national team breaking into tears when she unexpectedly came across Kudus as the team bus departed from Kumasi.
In a display of his graciousness, Kudus took a moment to take a photo with the emotional fan before boarding the bus en route to their hotel. The former Ajax midfielder delivered an outstanding performance as the Black Stars bounced back from a one-goal deficit to secure victory in Kumasi.

Initially, the Central African Republic took the lead thanks to forward Louis Mafouta, but Kudus quickly equalized just two minutes before halftime. In the second half, substitute Ernest Nuamah sealed the victory by calmly slotting home an assist from Antoine Semenyo.
