The Ghana Grid Company LTD (GRIDCo) and the Electricity Company of Ghana have confirmed the successful fixing of recent intermittent power disruptions across the nation. The restoration occurred due to the renewed supply of gas to the power plants in Tema from Takoradi, as mentioned in a joint statement by both companies.
“The improved gas supply has enabled power restoration to all loads across the country,” parts of the statement read.

They highlighted that customers still encountering power cuts may be dealing with a local issue and are encouraged to contact the ECG office to address and resolve the problem.
