Widespread online rumors suggest that Kenneth Agyapong, the son of Kennedy Agyapong, is gearing up to contest the Asante Akyem South seat in the Ashanti Region. However, the son of the Central Member of Parliament for Assin has unequivocally stated that he has no such intentions. Kenneth Agyapong used social media to disclaim any awareness of the flyer, asserting that he harbors no interest in seeking a position in the Ghanaian Parliament.

He emphasized that his primary focus remains on overseeing his various business ventures rather than engaging in Ghanaian politics. Kenneth urged everyone to dismiss the flyer and treat it with the disregard it deserves.
“I have sighted flyers with my picture purportedly projecting me as hoping to contest the Asante Akyem South parliamentary seat on the ticket of the NPP, being bandied around. I wish to state categorically without any equivocation that, I know nothing about the flyer and its circulation.

“I am a businessman, focusing on how to manage affairs of the enterprises and the entities that I lead and have no intention of filing for any parliamentary primaries either within the NPP circles or in the Asante Akyem South.
