The administration of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology(KNUST ) has officially released forms for candidates to be admitted to Undergraduate Degree Programmes for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. It is announced for the benefit of potential Applicants (as defined above) and the general public that application e-vouchers to Degree/Top-Up programmes of study at the University for the 2023/2024 Academic Year are now available for purchase.

Applicants with examination results at the time of application and those who will writing WASSCE in August/September 2023 are eligible to apply.

The following applicants are eligible to purchase E-Vouchers for the online application:

  • WASSCE/SSSCE Holdersof credit passes (A1-C6/A-D) in the following Three (3) Core Subjects: English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science, as well as credit passes (A1-C6/A-D) in Three Elective Subjects, with an Aggregate Score of 24 or higher in the applicable Area of Study.
  • Holders of the GENERAL BUSINESS CERTIFICATE (GBCE) who have passed three compulsory subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, as well as any three elective subjects.
  • LEVEL ADVANCED Holders must have credits in at least five (5) subjects at the GCE ‘O’ Level (or its equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics, as well as three (3) passes in the relevant subjects at the Advanced Level.
  • Holders of the ADVANCED BUSINESS CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION (ABCE) with passes in three compulsory subjects plus three optional subjects relevant to the Programme of study, OR Applicants with Stage I of ACCA, ICA, Associate of Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB), Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) with credits at WASSCE/SSSCE in three (3) Core Subjects and credits in three (3) Elective Subjects or Six (6) credits at GBCE or
  • MATURE STUDENTS who are 25 years of age or older at the time of application and have credits in five (5) GCE ‘O Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, as well as passing an Entrance Examination and/or Interview.
  • HND holders with three (3) years relevant work experience in addition to the WASSCE/SSSCE entry requirements or five (5) GCE O’ Level credits including English Language and Mathematics.
  • FOREIGN APPLICANTS and anyone else who possesses any of the aforementioned qualifications or their equivalent from an accredited/recognized institution.
  • Applicants from French-speaking countries must provide a one-year English Proficiency Certificate in addition to the Minimum Entry Requirement.
