Singer Lojay expressed genuine appreciation towards Davido, his senior colleague, for facilitating a meeting with American superstar Chris Brown, which ultimately led to a dream collaboration. Despite being featured together on the remix of Lojay’s popular song “Monalisa,” they had not met before or during the recording process.
During an episode of Trending on HipTV hosted by KimOprah, Lojay revealed that after sending the audio file to Chris Brown, the American artist completed his verse and sent it back.
Lojay mentioned that it was only through Davido’s assistance, who brought him to Chris Brown’s hotel the day before his Wireless Concert performance, that he finally had the opportunity to meet the Grammy-winning artist. Although he had initially struggled to arrange a meeting, Lojay emphasized that their professional relationship greatly improved after having a face-to-face interaction.

In a similar vein, Davido recently introduced Nigerian dancer Poco Lee to Chris Brown. The three of them participated in the viral dance challenge for the song “Unavailable” from Davido’s Timeless album.
In a video shared by Davido, he highlighted the exceptional dance talents of Poco Lee and Chris Brown, even comparing them to the late pop singer Michael Jackson. As Chris and Poco Lee posed for pictures, Davido referred to the Nigerian dancer as “Poco Jackson” and acknowledged the Grammy-winning American musician as Chris. Chris Brown enthusiastically joined the dance challenge alongside Poco Lee and showcased some of his own dance moves, accompanied by his backup dancers.
