Kennedy Agyapong, a presidential aspirant from the New Patriotic Party (NPP), along with Hopeson Adorye and three other party members, are set to face the party’s Disciplinary Committee due to their alleged misconduct. The party’s General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, clarified that this action was prompted by concrete evidence, including video and photographic materials. These materials suggest potential violations of the party’s constitution, specifically Article 3(5)(A), as well as possible misconduct under Article 4(7). The alleged misconduct occurred during the special delegates conference held on Saturday, where five presidential candidates were shortlisted.
