Dr. Phyllis Tebuah Osei, the Director of the Counselling Unit at the Ghana Police Service, has assumed the role of queen mother for Amonukuma Ekroful in the Anomabo Traditional Area of the Central Region. She was enstooled with the title Nana Ama Kwentsiwa I. Prior to her current role, Nana Kwentsiwa served as the Unit Commander of the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) at the Ministries Police station and held the position of Deputy National Coordinator for DOVVSU.

During a public event at Amonu Kuma Ekroful, Nana Kwentsiwa, alongside mining surveyor Anthony Andoh, was enstooled as Odikro with the name Nana Sekyi VI. They arrived at the ceremony in palanquins, receiving cheers from their subjects and well-wishers, including senior security personnel. Both Nana Kwentsiwa and Nana Sekyi later pledged their loyalty to the community.
Education
Nana Kwentsiwa expressed her dedication to enhancing education and sports in the region. She outlined plans to bolster education, create regulations to curb truancy, and foster a culture of learning among the youth in the community. She emphasized the importance of men and boys supporting young girls in their education rather than engaging in inappropriate relationships.

As for Nana Sekyi, the Odikro, he emphasized the significance of peace and unity for the area’s progress, highlighting that development hinges on these aspects. He encouraged locals to contribute to the area’s development.
