Four individuals have been apprehended by the Ghana Police Service in connection with a widely circulated video showing a young woman being subjected to inhumane and degrading treatment. The arrested suspects have been identified as Awizore Amolt (38 years old), Akolbila Asorwogo (19 years old), Akolbila Ben (21 years old), and Atibila Aladago (37 years old).

On June 12, 2023, the police made a public announcement regarding the initiation of a thorough investigation into the incident. The video is believed to have originated from the Upper East Region.
