A frightening event unfolded on the Accra-Kumasi highway when a long-distance bus suddenly caught fire due to mechanical issues.
This caused panic among the passengers. Witnesses stated that the bus driver quickly reacted upon noticing smoke, pulling over to the side of the road.

All passengers were evacuated safely before the flames consumed the bus completely. Despite swift action, the fire quickly intensified and bystanders were unable to do much to help.
Thankfully, there were no casualties or injuries reported.
