Fantana, a Ghanaian singer, has recently released her new single titled “Your man” on May 5. She has also announced that her first EP, titled “Pills and Concoctions,” will be released on Thursday, July 13, just ten days after her 26th birthday.
During an interview on 3FM Drive with Giovani Caleb and AJ Sarpong on May 10, Fantana revealed that “Pills and Concoctions” consists of six songs and does not feature any collaborations. The EP showcases a range of genres, including Dancehall and Afropop.
When asked about the delay in releasing an EP, Fantana explained that she prefers not to rush and takes her time to create her music.

Fantana, also known as Capo Tana, has not been consistently active in her music career. However, she expressed her focus on building her brand rather than solely focusing on releasing more music.
The singer, famous for her hits like “Girls hate on girls” and “New African lady,” clarified that she did not enhance her body for confidence purposes as she has always been confident. She also mentioned that she does not discourage others from enhancing their bodies if they have the means to do so.
Fantana, whose birth name is Francine Nyanko Koffi, is an American-born Ghanaian singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur known for her unique blend of Highlife and Afro Dancehall. She initially signed with Bullet’s Rufftown Records but later left to pursue her own brand.
It’s worth noting that Fantana is the daughter of Dorcas Nda-Affo Toffey, the current Member of Parliament for Jomoro Constituency in the Western Region of Ghana.
Additionally, Fantana is the only Ghanaian representative in the Netflix reality show “Young, Famous and African,” which features African superstars.
