A young woman, believed to be in her twenties, was caught by residents of Nkawkaw while attempting to steal GH¢40,000 from a mobile money vendor.
Under the guise of withdrawing funds, the woman discreetly took the money and hid it in her side bag.

As she tried to leave, unaware that her actions had been recorded by the stall’s CCTV, she was quickly apprehended by residents who retrieved the stolen cash.
Despite being treated leniently, she faced humiliation and was jeered at by onlookers drawn to the commotion.
