Tiwa Savage, a well-known Nigerian singer and songwriter, has been selected to perform at the coronation of the British monarch, which is a highly significant event taking place on May 6, 2023, at Westminster Abbey in London. Tiwa Savage will be joining a group of famous performers, including Paloma Faith, Olly Murs, Lang Lang, Lucy, Steve Winwood, and DJ Pete Tong, for the coronation concert and Big Lunch, which will be held the following day, May 7, 2023. King Charles III and his Queen Consort, Camilla, will be crowned officially after the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, his mother. The organizers have stated that Tiwa Savage is one of the few African artists who have been selected to perform at this historic coronation concert.
