A 27-year-old Nigerian named Winner Terry has been apprehended by the Buduburam District Police Command for allegedly stabbing his co-tenant in the neck, shoulder, and leg. The incident occurred during a dispute about the earnings songwriters receive for composing music for artists.
The altercation took place at Estate Junction, located in Gomoa Buduburam, a suburb within the Gomoa East District of the Central Region. Police sources indicate that the victim and the suspect, who share a residence in Buduburam, engaged in a heated argument over songwriter royalties.

After the argument, they continued talking in the suspect’s room, unaware of his malicious intentions. Nana Amoasi, the landlord and Benkumhene of the area, expressed his shock over the incident in an interview with Adom News. He believes the suspect’s actions were deliberate, given the severity of the victim’s injuries.
Nana Amoasi also called on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to deploy military officers to support the Police in addressing the rising crime in the area, as residents are living in fear.
