Gratitude becomes even more meaningful when you can look back and recognise how far God’s faithfulness has carried you. That is the beautiful foundation of “Psalm 138 I Will Give You Thanks,” a contemporary gospel and R&B release by Malachi Ben-David, released on October 30, 2026. Inspired by Psalm 138, the song turns biblical expressions of thanksgiving into a warm musical offering centred on God’s promises, grace and enduring presence.

The track has a lovely, reflective atmosphere that immediately makes it enjoyable. Its soulful direction gives the song a gentle character, while the vocals carry the lyrics with grace and clarity. There is a natural connection between the delivery and the musical arrangement, allowing the message to come through without unnecessary distractions. The production gives the melody room to breathe, making the listening experience particularly inviting.
Malachi approaches thanksgiving from a personal perspective, recalling moments of weakness, unanswered questions and the strength that comes from calling upon God. The recurring declaration, “With my whole heart I thank you,” becomes the song’s central expression of gratitude. It is simple, memorable and perfectly suited to the message.

Another particularly meaningful moment comes when he sings, “You won’t quit what you started, you won’t walk off halfway through.” This captures one of the song’s strongest spiritual ideas: the confidence that God remains committed to completing the work He begins in our lives. “Psalm 138 I Will Give You Thanks” is a warm and enjoyable gospel release that combines soulful R&B influences with scripture-inspired songwriting. Malachi Ben-David offers a lovely reminder to remain thankful, trust God’s promises and recognise His presence through every season.
