The Akenten Appiah-Minkah University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) is in a state of mourning due to the tragic loss of Chief Prosper Owusu, affectionately known as ‘Arrested,’ who served as the chief priest of Opoku Ware Hall.
This unfortunate incident occurred just six days after a horrifying stunt went awry, leading to Chief Prosper Owusu accidentally setting himself on fire.
‘Arrested’ was a well-recognized figure within the campus community, famous for his audacious stunts and captivating performances.
Regrettably, on that fateful day, his customary stunt involving self-immolation took a disastrous turn that resulted in his demise.
Videos circulated of his final performance showed him setting himself on fire, but within minutes, he was seen struggling to extinguish the flames that enveloped him.

Despite immediate efforts to assist the chief priest, he sustained severe burns and was promptly transported to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for medical treatment.
Sadly, he could not overcome his injuries and passed away on Saturday, September 1.
The sudden demise of Chief Prosper Owusu has left the university community in a state of shock.
Many individuals have taken to social media to offer their condolences and reminisce about ‘Arrested’s’ lively and captivating shows.
Prosper was a 23-year-old third-year student majoring in Mathematics Education.
His burial has been scheduled for September 14.
In the meantime, the authorities at AAMUSTED have issued a statement regarding this incident, indicating that investigations have been initiated.
