The Attorney-General, Godfred Yeboah Dame, has ordered an investigation into the actions of a third-year student known as Bobby at a school in the Central Region, Adisadel Collage. Bobby allegedly attacked another student, choking him and slamming his face against a bed in the dormitory. Being 17 years old, Bobby will be treated as a juvenile.

Kelvin will be allowed to remain in school and participate in the West African Senior Secondary School Examination (WASSCE) while the investigations continue. The Ministry and the Ghana Education Service (GES) have also established a team of psycho-social counselors to provide support to all the students involved.
