The esteemed gospel artist, Piesie Esther, has reached a significant milestone in her career by winning the prestigious Artiste of the Year accolade at the Ghana Music Awards in Europe (GMA-Europe). This notable achievement is a clear recognition of her exceptional contributions to the Ghanaian music industry.
Piesie Esther clinched this award due to her highly successful hit track, ‘W’aye Me Yie,’ which has captivated music enthusiasts and dominated the airwaves throughout the past year. She faced stiff competition from renowned artists such as Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Black Sherif, Gyakie, Kidi, and MOG Music, but emerged as the victor.

During the event, a representative from the French Embassy presented Piesie Esther with a plaque in recognition of her accomplishment. In her acceptance speech, she expressed profound gratitude to God for lifting her from a struggling musician to an award-winning artist.
“God has truly been wonderful and a tremendous blessing in my life. Winning the Artiste of the Year award is an incredible achievement, and I want to convey my heartfelt appreciation to Ghana, the event organizers, my fans, my dedicated team, and everyone who has supported me on this remarkable journey,” Piesie Esther remarked.
Additionally, Piesie Esther also received the Song of the Year award.
