One-year-old Ghanaian Ace Liam has become the latest Guinness World Records (GWR) holder as the youngest male artist. He surpasses the previous record held by Dante Lamb, a three-year-old who had maintained the title since 2003.
Liam attempted the Guinness World Records in Accra between January 18 and January 20, 2024, with the achievement being officially announced at a press conference on Tuesday, May 14.

Liam’s mother, Chantelle Eghan, thanked Ghanaians for their support during her son’s record attempt, noting that Liam started painting at just six months old.
GWR confirmed Liam’s achievement, stating, “We are thrilled to inform you that your application for Youngest Artist (male) has been successful and you are now the Guinness World Records Title Holder!”

Liam’s accomplishment adds to Ghana’s collection of Guinness World Record titles. Recently, 29-year-old Abubakar Tahiru also set a record for the most trees hugged in an hour.
