Heavy security at court as NAM1 pleads to fresh charges

Security measures at the entrance of the Financial and Economic Division of the High Court in Accra have been intensified in compliance with court directives. This decision was made after lawyers representing the defunct Menzgold Chief Executive Officer, Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM1), informed the court that the company’s Public Relations Officer had been attacked with an object by an unidentified customer during the previous court session.

In response to this, Justice Ernest Owusu-Dapaa, a Justice of the Court of Appeal sitting as an additional High Court judge, instructed the Registrar to enhance security whenever the case was scheduled.Also Traf

As the court prepares for the upcoming hearing, strict security measures have been implemented at the entrance, involving thorough screening of everyone before entry. NAM1 is expected to address the 39 counts on the amended charge sheet during the court proceedings.
