The Special Prosecutor (SP) has issued a warning that his office will pursue individuals who face accusations of corruption or corruption-related activities.
Mr. Kissi Agyabeng emphasized that if anyone in the public sphere is alleged to be involved in corrupt practices, he will conduct a thorough investigation instead of ignoring the claims. During an interview on JoyNews’ Newsfile, the Special Prosecutor expressed his commitment to taking action, stating that if there are accusations of seizing excavators and being unable to provide a proper account, he will not ignore the matter and will actively pursue it.

Similarly, he emphasized that he will also investigate any public official who faces allegations of being unable to account for seized gold nuggets or of personally benefiting from them.
