KaiserKillers return with “Love Conquers All (25 Mix),” a swaggering slice of PowerPopPunk that blends wit, melody, and modern disillusionment. Born from the chaos of Brexit and stitched together with jangly guitars, sardonic vocals, and handclaps recorded by a studio janitor, this track is an energetic reflection on love’s limits in the so-called “real world.”

The Glasgow-based band—made up of Johnny Zero, Cristi Mac Seáin, Andy deForest, and the elusive drummer Stix McIntosh, craft a punchy, melodic rebellion that recalls the Buzzcocks, the Smiths, and the Byrds all at once. From the lyric “Love conquers all… except in the real world,” they explore fleeting romance, summer illusions, and political unrest with poetic bite and playful cynicism.

The track was recorded between Bede Burn Studio in Newcastle and Strawberry Field in Colchester, mixed and mastered by Francis Gorini. The result is a fast-paced a song with clever production details, including a percussive intro made from a shoebox of dried peas.
