Michellar’s debut EP ‘My Alma Latina’ is a fusion of Latin rhythm, spiritual reflection, and cultural pride. Drawing inspiration from her Spanish and Filipino heritage, Michellar delivers five deeply personal tracks that explore prayer, identity, and emotional healing.

From the soul-stirring “Ave Maria” a contemporary reimagining of the sacred hymn, to the upbeat charm of “Samba with Me,” the EP shows her versatility. “The Deep,” recorded in London, offers a poetic meditation on self-discovery, with the line “I will take this body to the waters of my soul” resonating like a whispered affirmation.

Produced by Lloyd Miller of Spirit Song Studios and recorded across San Francisco, Austin, and London, My Alma Latina is the product of a global, collaborative effort. Yet it feels remarkably cohesive, unified by Michellar’s clear vision and gentle strength.
