Dr. Evans Ago Tetteh, the spouse of the well-known journalist Bridget Otoo, has confronted the Ghana Police Service, alleging that they harassed his wife, who was part of the #OccupyJulorbiHouse protest.
During the demonstration at the Accra Regional Command, Bridget Otoo claimed she was subjected to physical assault, as tensions escalated. In a Twitter discussion held on Thursday, an audio recording captured Bridget Otoo strongly criticizing the police officers as they prepared their weapons during a tense standoff.

In the audio, she can be heard saying, “You are cocking your guns, you are cocking your guns! Try it!”
Additionally, video footage showed Bridget and fellow protesters being forcibly taken into the Regional Police Command compound. Although she managed to escape, her clothing was torn in the process.
Dr. Ago Tetteh, visibly enraged by the distressing incident, openly challenged the police to confront him. He expressed his anger, saying, “Let them kill her and let’s see. This is a foolish thing to do. I’ll show them I am a man. I am right here. Let any police officer come try me and let’s see” he fumed.
