The Ghana Police Service has apprehended a suspect in Tamale, Northern Region, for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
The suspect, identified as Imarana Abdulai Gomda, was arrested at Datoyili Barrier on Wednesday, May 29th, 2024.

During the operation, police seized two SMG rifles, six rounds of 9mm ammunition, and two empty magazines from Gomda. He is currently in custody, assisting the police with their investigation.
