After a series of delays and appeals, Mona Montrage, widely known as Hajia4Reall, is scheduled to receive her sentence today, June 28, 2024.
The case, which has garnered significant public and media attention, reaches a crucial point as the court prepares to deliver its final verdict.
Montrage’s legal team, led by Elena Fast and Michael Perkins of The Fast Law Firm, P.C., has argued for a reduced sentence of three months, asserting that Montrage has accepted responsibility for her actions.

According to DST Intel, her attorneys emphasized that her guilty plea regarding the use of her bank accounts to receive illicit funds, which ceased in 2019, should not define her current character.

Prosecutors have cited similar cases to support their stance, arguing that a reduced sentence would undermine justice and fail to serve as a deterrent to others.
