
A Nigerian woman was left devastated upon discovering that her boyfriend of three years is actually a Catholic priest residing in the United States.
Seeking advice, she turned to the popular Instagram account Diaryofanaijagirl, sharing her story with its followers. She expressed disbelief at finding herself in a situation she had only read about before.

Throughout their three-year relationship, she had never suspected his true identity. When confronted, he confessed that he concealed the truth because he loved her deeply and feared she would leave if she knew.
He hoped to secure her entry to America and envisioned a future together after his retirement from the priesthood.
Rejecting his proposal, she refused to enter into such an arrangement with a man she believed to be devoted to God.
