Andre Ayew, the captain of Ghana’s national team, has been released by Nottingham Forest after his contract expired.
The 33-year-old striker joined Nottingham Forest in January on a six-month deal after leaving Al Sadd at the end of the previous year.
During his time at Nottingham Forest, Ayew played in 13 matches under the management of Steve Cooper.

The club had signed him to bring experience to their squad and improve their chances of avoiding relegation from the Premier League.
Despite his efforts, Ayew was unable to score a goal during his 306 minutes of playing time for the team. He also missed a penalty during one of the matches.
As his contract has now ended, the Ghanaian forward is currently without a club. He is now focused on securing a new team ahead of the upcoming season.
