Taken from the album Hold On Tight, the track delivers an encouraging reminder that success starts with the willingness to keep showing up and putting in the work.

One of the song’s interesting touches comes right at the beginning, with a radio alarm clock waking listeners to the tune of “Storm Of Thunder” from the band’s previous album, Keep On Movin’. It is a clever way to connect the two projects while setting up the idea of a new day and another opportunity to get things right. From there, the song moves into its motivational outlook, capturing the familiar routine of getting up, facing challenges, and pushing forward regardless of what yesterday brought.
The lyrics keep their message straightforward. Lines about reaching beyond the stars and taking things step by step reinforce the idea that dreams become achievable through consistent effort and self-belief. Rather than presenting success as something that happens overnight, “Believe” encourages listeners to focus on the journey and trust their ability to make progress.

The ’80s-inspired rock direction gives the song an uplifting identity, making its message feel suited to a soundtrack for getting motivated and taking on a fresh challenge. The repeated “if you believe” refrain serves as the central reminder, bringing the song back to its main idea. “Believe” is a solid addition to Hold On Tight, offering Brian James & The Boys Of Summer a chance to deliver music with a positive message and a classic rock outlook. For anyone working towards a goal, its message is simple: keep moving, take it step by step, and never stop believing in yourself.
