Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, a well-known Ghanaian musician and entrepreneur who goes by the name Mzbel, has disclosed that she is experiencing adverse effects on her mental well-being due to cyberbullying.
Mzbel has expressed that hurtful comments, particularly those found on social media, are causing her sleepless nights. She made these remarks during an appearance on Joy Prime’s Celeb Biz Saturday with Amelley Djosu.

“You go online and see things that people say about you, and you can’t sleep because you wish you could tell them your side, but you check out who they are, and you are like, I can’t even go tell this person my story, but then they are loud enough to make everybody believe that you are this person or that person. It really hurts,” she said.
On numerous occasions, the hip-hop artist has chosen not to respond to online attacks and controversies that arise on social media.
Mzbel mentioned that she occasionally sheds tears when encountering negative stories about herself and has resolved not to pay attention to such sensational tabloids. It’s worth noting that the negative impact is not limited to the musician alone; her son is also affected by the outright falsehoods sometimes circulated online, leading to his disappointment.

However, she said, “I am a strong woman, and I’m coping, but I cry a lot, and so now I try to avoid reading comments and paying attention to negative stories that are put out there about me.”
