Davido is overjoyed after his ‘Timeless’ album has received 12 million streams in 24 hours.

With the release of his most recent album, Timeless, David Adeleke, better known in the entertainment industry as Davido, set a new record.

On March 31st, he released the album, and 12 million people listened to it on the first day on the global streaming platform Audiomack.

Timeless was the first record to reach those numbers on the platform on its first day of release. Davido expressed surprise in response to Audiomack Africa’s announcement on its official Twitter website.

“RECORD-BREAKING: @davido’s #Timeless had over 12 MILLION streams in its first 24 hours, more than any other album on Audiomack, ever!” wrote Audiomack.
