Released on October 10, 2026, “His Reign Will Never End” by Olufemi Adeleye is an uplifting gospel song centred on the birth, identity, and everlasting reign of Jesus Christ. Built around a recurring declaration of faith, the track brings together its musical elements in a way that supports the message, making it a nice gospel song for listeners who appreciate worship music rooted in biblical promises.
The song draws inspiration from Isaiah 9:6–7, particularly the prophecy of a child being born whose government and peace will have no end. This scripture provides the foundation for the repeated lines, “Unto us a son is given, unto us a child is born.” The repetition gives the song a strong central theme, keeping the focus firmly on Christ and the promise of His eternal kingdom.
The elements complement one another well, helping the song maintain its worshipful direction while allowing the lyrics to remain the main attraction. Rather than moving away from its central declaration, the arrangement reinforces the message through the returning refrain. This gives the song a sense of continuity and makes its central words easy to follow and remember.
The lyrics also move beyond the announcement of Christ’s birth to explore the hope associated with His coming. References to redemption, love, grace, healing, and the presence of Emmanuel expand the song’s message, presenting Jesus as a source of hope for humanity. The section naming Him Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace draws directly on the prophetic language of Isaiah, giving the song a distinctly scriptural foundation.
Olufemi Adeleye keeps the focus on the greatness of Christ and the assurance that His reign will never end. The repeated declarations serve as a reminder of the permanence of His kingdom, making the song suitable for personal devotion and gospel listening.
“His Reign Will Never End” is a solid addition for listeners seeking gospel music that celebrates the identity of Jesus and the enduring promise of His reign.
