Christmas songs often focus on family gatherings, familiar traditions and the joy of being together. B-Rad takes a different route on “(Ho Ho) Hold Me In Your Heart,” a country song released on November 29, 2025, that explores the loneliness of spending the holidays apart from someone who matters deeply. Taken from his album Songs For The Second Time, the song draws on the artist’s personal experiences with parental alienation and high-conflict divorce. That background gives its lyrics added weight, particularly as they explore the pain of a parent missing a child during a season traditionally associated with family connection.

This is a warm, well-balanced country recording. The arrangement complements the male vocals nicely, creating a gentle holiday atmosphere without making the song feel overly cheerful for its subject. The performance carries a sense of longing that suits the writing, while the recurring chorus gives the central plea a memorable, almost conversational quality.
“Ho Ho Hold me in your heart, ’cause my arms have been erased” is the line that captures the song’s emotional core. It expresses the helplessness of being physically separated from someone you love while hoping that the bond between you remains intact. The references to missing pieces beneath the Christmas tree and memories of making a child feel safe and loved make the story particularly affecting.

What makes this track stand out is its willingness to acknowledge that the holidays can be difficult. Not everyone approaches December with uncomplicated joy, and B-Rad gives those listeners a song that speaks to their experience. “(Ho Ho) Hold Me In Your Heart” is a thoughtful holiday country ballad with warmth, strong storytelling and a message that extends beyond Christmas: distance does not automatically erase love.
