Ghanaian singer-songwriter Kidi recently sat down for an exclusive interview with Stripped by Sika Osei to address the rumors surrounding his health. Speculations had been circulating that the artist was battling a stroke or liver disease, leading to the postponement of his highly anticipated American tour. However, Kidi took the opportunity to clarify that his decision to reschedule the tour was primarily driven by a need to reconnect with himself and deliver a performance that met his high standards.
“I don’t have a stroke, it was one of the craziest things i ever heard, it came from nowhere”

During the interview, Kidi categorically denied the rumors of suffering from a stroke or liver disease, assuring his fans and well-wishers that he was in good health. He acknowledged the concerns expressed by his supporters and recognized their loyalty but emphasized that it was essential for him to prioritize his well-being.
“An few weeks before the Tour was actually going to begin, i was on stage performing and I felt like something wasn’t right and I always told myself that music was my purpose what I was called to do and so if at any point I’m not enjoying it I need to take a step back and assess what is happening” He said
The multi-talented artist explained that he felt compelled to take some time off to reevaluate his physical and mental state. Kidi expressed his desire to give his best on the American tour.
“And because like it took a toll on me and it started reflecting physically, sometimes I wake up in the morning and my voice is gone and I’m singing and its not singing, and I saw the was the need for me to step back and heal, reset, recharge and refocus” He stated
