Ghanaian musician-turned-evangelist, Lord Kenya, has announced the passing of his father, Nana Akpor Kainya, at the age of 78.

The burial service is scheduled for Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 8:00 am at his residence in Apemso, near Apemso Pentecost Church.

The interment will take place on Thursday, August 8, 2024, in Sanzule, Nzema, as a private event.

The final funeral rites are set for Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 12 PM to 6 PM at Hero’s Park, Kumasi Sports Stadium.

The thanksgiving mass will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Face of Grace Covenant Temple, near Ahodwo Melcom in Kumasi.

Finally, a family gathering will take place on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at his residence in Apemso.

Lord Kenya and his family invite friends and sympathizers to join them in celebrating the life and legacy of Nana Akpor Kainya. The announcement has been met with condolences from fans and well-wishers nationwide.
