Weathership’s debut album “Splendid Beast” is a stunning exploration of life’s greatest duality – fear and love. To be released on November 15th via Bear Love Records/Butterfly Effect, this concept album takes the listener on a journey through the complexities of human emotion, weaving a narrative that’s both deeply personal and relatable.

The album’s 9 tracks are a masterclass in atmospheric storytelling, with hook-laden melodies and smoldering sounds that exhibits the band’s skill in making immersive music. With “Splendid Beast”, Weathership has created a serenading masterpiece that’s perfect for relaxing, introspecting, or simply escaping the chaos of everyday life. From the opening notes of “Golden Age” to the closing refrains of “For The Dark Is Beautiful”, Weathership’s “Splendid Beast” is a music tapestry that’s both haunting and beautiful.
The production quality is top-notch, with a clear and crisp mix that allows each element to shine. The band’s decision to self-produce and work with Jamie Donnelly (Up The Music Services) has paid off, resulting in an album that’s both polished and raw, with a sense of urgency that’s hard to shake.
Standout tracks like “The Blue”, “Lost At Sea”, and “Just A Ghost” showcase the band’s ability to craft memorable hooks, while “Through The Fog” and “Electrolung” demonstrate their skill in creating atmospheric soundscapes that send the listener to another world.
