The SKBs’ debut album ‘Where This Leads Us’ released on August 28, 2025, is a compelling and nice journey through eight beautifully crafted tracks. Written entirely by Al Sharp and performed by a talented collective—including standout vocals from Si Marx and Sara Davey, and drums by Leon Cave (Status Quo), this project blends country, soul, rock, and cinematic textures with remarkable ease.

The album opens strong with “Welcome To My Life – Extended Version”, an expansive, emotional introduction. “Nothing To Me” and “Room In My Heart” follow, offering reflective, soulful melodies. Things pick up with “Dust In The Light”, a guitar-driven song full of urgency and edge, and “Hold On To The Moon”, which balances lush arrangements with lyrical intimacy.
“The Whale Edge” stands out for its irresistible hook and rock flavor, while “Everything Must Change” brings depth and country soul. Closing track “Understanding” ends the album on a thoughtful, resonant note.
