The Black Stars will commence their AFCON campaign by facing Egypt’s Pharaohs.
Following that, Ghana will compete against the resurgent national team of Cape Verde. The Blue Sharks, making their fourth appearance, will bring confidence and talent to the field.
Lastly, during the group stage, Ghana will go up against the underdog team from Mozambique.
The 34th edition of the tournament is scheduled to be held from January 13 to February 11, 2024, and will be hosted by Ivory Coast for the second time since 1984.
The Black Stars, who last clinched the prestigious trophy in 1982, will aim to bring an end to the country’s 41-year drought without the championship.
