Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the Member of Parliament (MP) representing Assin Central, has conveyed that he would not recommend young men to engage in relationships with multiple women, whether as wives or as the mothers of their children, as it is an exceedingly challenging endeavor. Known for having several children with different women himself, Agyapong highlighted the numerous difficulties that arise from such a practice.

During an appearance on Starr FM’s StarrChat program on October 5, 2023, Agyapong, who is currently vying for the flagbearer position in the New Patriotic Party (NPP), disclosed that he faces significant challenges due to his polygamous lifestyle and, therefore, does not advise others to follow his example.

“I won’t advise any young man to have multiple women only if you knew the problems I go through,” he said.

Agyapong has served as a Member of Parliament since January 7, 2001, and wields considerable influence in the NPP, frequently providing financial support to the party and participating in its strategic decisions.

It’s worth noting that in 2021, Agyapong shared that he is the proud father of twenty-two children, a fact he considers a blessing, given the affection he receives from them. However, he has decided to conclude his pursuit of additional offspring and shift his focus towards his businesses and empowering young people.

“I’m tired but performance, if you are good why not. Performance is in the brain and when I have a sound mind why not? You want to do something in life and that is the stage I am now,” he said on the Good Evening Ghana show on Metro TV.
