Kenyan authorities arrest fake lawyer who won all 26 cases he handled in court

Kenyan law enforcement has apprehended an individual named Brian Mwenda, who falsely presented himself as a licensed attorney from the High Court of Kenya. Reports indicate that this imposter successfully litigated 26 cases before various judicial bodies, including High Court Judges, Magistrates, and Court of Appeal Judges. His fraudulent activities came to an end when he was detained by the Law Society of Kenya’s Rapid Action Team in Nairobi, responding to public complaints about his deceptive legal representation.

“It has been brought to the attention of the LSK Nairobi Branch through the Rapid Action Team (RAT), that the man has been presenting and conducting himself as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a member of LSK Nairobi Branch,” read the notice in part.

He is being held at the RAT headquarters pending further investigation.
