During her appearance on the Obra show on Nhyira FM, Fati Garibah shared with Mama Efe that when her daughter became pregnant three years ago, she initially claimed that her boyfriend, Frukani Abubakari, was the father. However, the situation took an unexpected turn when the girl confessed that she was unable to determine the true father of her child because she had engaged in sexual relations with both her uncle and her boyfriend.
“I started having an affair with Frukani at class six in his grandmother’s room in her absence, but when I got pregnant, I informed my uncle; he gave me money for a pregnancy test, but I refused and provided him with fake results because I used my friend’s urine for the test,” she said.
According to her, the uncle had an affair with her when his wife was not present, while she also had a sexual relationship with her boyfriend whenever she visited him.

However, when both men accused of being the father appeared on the show, they strongly denied the allegations.
“I’m surprised she has accused me of dating her; aside from my girlfriend, I don’t have intercourse with any lady,” he claimed.
Frukani informed Mama Efe that he had no involvement with the girl and even mentioned another woman as his girlfriend. He claimed, “I’m surprised that she accused me of being in a relationship with her. Apart from my girlfriend, I have not engaged in sexual intercourse with any other woman.”

The uncle, Mustapha Mohammed, pleaded with Mama Efe and the Obra team to conduct a paternity test in order to clear his name from the accusations. The Obra team has agreed to support the mother by facilitating a DNA test to determine the true father of her grandson.
