Vydia, Mr Eazi’s portfolio company, sold for $1bn

Mr. Eazi’s venture capital business, Zagadat Capital, sold Vydia for $1 billion. Gamma, an American corporation, purchased the company that developed the foundation for the distribution of digital music and video. Larry Jackson, a former Apple Music executive, owns Gamma, a music and technology firmIn a statement on the acquisition, Jackson stated that Vydia embodies gamma’s vision of being an ideas firm.

Mr. Eazi is also the owner of the emPawa streaming music service.Vydia’s official page announced the transaction as follows:

We’re extremely excited to announce that Vydia has been acquired by gamma. gamma. was founded by Apple Music’s former Global Creative Director Larry Jackson, and veteran music exec Ike Youssef, with financial backing from Eldridge, Apple, and A24. This is just the beginning.”
