The authorities have apprehended a single individual suspected of involvement in the murder of a 28-year-old man in Ayiem, Western Region, on August 25, 2023.
According to the Police, their initial inquiry suggests that the arrested individual, Emmanuel Quayco, was part of a group of six collaborators. The other five accomplices, who are presently evading capture, were apparently in the midst of demonstrating their alleged spiritual abilities. During this incident, Emmanuel Quayco used a single-barrel firearm loaded with an AA cartridge to fatally shoot the victim, known as Amoh Kwadwo alias Mallam.

The detained suspect is currently in Police custody, cooperating with the ongoing investigation. Meanwhile, efforts are being undertaken to locate and apprehend the remaining five suspects, so they can be brought to justice.
These individuals are strongly advised to either turn themselves in at the nearest Police Station or face the consequences of being tracked down in their hideouts.
