
The final funeral arrangements for Ghanaian football icon, Raphael Dwamena, who tragically passed away in Albania, have been set for Friday, February 16, 2024.
The ceremony is scheduled to occur at the Adjirigano Astro Turf in Accra. Dwamena, aged 28, had been diagnosed with a heart condition and opted to have a defibrillator implanted, but later made the personal choice to have it removed in 2022.

His untimely demise occurred on Saturday, November 11, 2023, due to a cardiac failure during a match in the Albanian league while playing for KF Egnatia against Partizani, just 24 minutes into the game.
Dwamena, known for his exceptional talent, made his debut for the Ghanaian national team, the Black Stars, on June 11, 2017, in a match against Ethiopia.
