Five sector Ministers have been scheduled to attend Parliament and respond to a total of 35 questions during the fourth week, which concludes on Friday, June 30.
The Ministers who will be present are the Minister of Youth and Sports, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, the Minister of Food and Agriculture, the Minister of Energy, and the Minister of Roads and Highways.
Mr. Frank Annor-Dompreh, the Majority Chief Whip and a Member of Parliament (MP) for Nsawam-Adoagyiri representing the New Patriotic Party (NPP), presented the Business Statement of the House for the week ending on Friday, June 30. He mentioned that the five Ministers were expected to appear before the House and address 35 questions, which includes one urgent question and 34 oral questions.
Furthermore, Mr. Annor-Dompreh informed the House that there were only five weeks remaining before adjournment sine die. In light of this, the Business Committee emphasized the need for all Committees with pending referrals to expedite the consideration of the listed Bills for the attention of the House. The Bills in question are the Grains Development Authority Bill, 2022, the Wildlife Resources Management Bill, 2022, the Ghana Industrial Property Office Bill, 2023, the Rent Bill, 2023, the Budget, 2023, the Criminal Offences (Amendment) Bill, 2022, and the National Petroleum Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2023.

Mr. Annoh-Dompreh also announced that Wednesday, June 28, would be observed as a statutory public holiday throughout the country due to the celebration of Eid-ul-Adha. Therefore, the House would not be in session on that day.
