Former Black Stars Midfielder Agyemang-Badu Set To Marry Girlfriend

Years following their initial courtship, Ghanaian soccer player Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu is getting ready to marry his long-time partner, Reggietta Affua Arthur, according to various sources. Despite keeping their relationship private from the public and media, the couple has been together for a considerable period.

Although details about Reggietta are scarce, it’s important to note that Badu is a highly respected professional footballer from Ghana. He has represented his nation in numerous international competitions, accumulating an impressive 78 caps for the Ghana national team. One of Badu’s most memorable moments came during the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup Final against Brazil, where he scored the winning sudden death penalty. This triumph marked Ghana as the first African nation to win the prestigious tournament.

Badu’s international career continued to flourish, participating in the Africa Cup of Nations in 2010, 2012, and 2013. Despite finishing as runners-up to Egypt in 2010, Ghana secured fourth-placed finishes in both the 2012 and 2013 editions of the tournament.

In the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations, Badu demonstrated his exceptional skills by executing an impressive mid-air volley goal in a group match against Guinea. This extraordinary goal was later nominated for the 2012 FIFA Puskás Award, acknowledging the best goal scored worldwide.

After missing the 2010 FIFA World Cup due to injury, Badu made a triumphant return to the international stage, being selected for Ghana’s squad in the 2014 tournament.
