Some followers of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Sagnarigu constituency of the Northern region have caused damage to the party’s constituency office.
The enraged youth alleged that the party leadership in the area was attempting to force the 2020 parliamentary candidate, Felicia Tetteh, upon them.

As per reports, the group visited the office to obtain nomination forms for their preferred candidate, Dr. Wahab Alhassan, to run in the upcoming parliamentary primaries. However, they were denied the forms and instead claimed that the party executives allowed Northern Regional Minister, Alhaji Saani Alhassan Shaibu, to obtain forms for Felicia Tetteh.

This decision reportedly angered the supporters, leading to the destruction of property valued at thousands of cedis.
